Welcome to the 325th Glider Infantry Regiment's Handbook!
Upon being accepted into the unit there are some things that you must be aware of.
First off, when your application to this unit is accepted you are now free to put on the recruit tag: simply shown as Rec. Upon completion of your Basic Combat Training, you will be promoted to Private (Pvt).
Respect is our most important rule here. If you are not respectful you will receive either a punishment or demerit. To better familiarize yourself with our rules, our MOTD on our public server provides more input on our rules. Simply type "!motd" into the chat box to view it.
Upon joining our unit when you are playing in our servers you are expected to type *Salute* when anyone with the rank of 1st Sgt or higher is present. If there is a 2Lt. and a Captain present in one of the servers, you salute the higher ranking Officer (i.e. the Captain). The order of the ranks from highest to lowest are:
Officer Ranks
Colonel (Col.)
Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col.)
Major (Maj.)
Captain (Capt.)
First Lieutenant (1Lt.)
Second Lieutenant (2Lt.)
Enlisted Ranks
1st Sergeant (F/Sgt.)
Technician Sergeant (T/Sgt.)
Master Sergeant (M/Sgt.)
Staff Sergeant (S/Sgt.)
Technician 3rd Grade (T/3)
Sergeant (Sgt.)
Technician 4th Grade (T/4)
Corporal (Cpl.)
Technician 5th Grade (T/5)
Private First Class (Pfc.)
Private (Pvt.)
Recruit (Rec.)
Binding the *Salute* to a button is what you are required to do, however it is covered in your official enlistment. To bind it simply put this in your console: bind / "say *Salute*"
Additionally, you can bind the call for a medic to a key by typing the following command in console: bind key "say_team !medic"
When called, you will receive a health boost, if below 25 HP.
Along with your name, tags, and 1st MD Avatar (Rank. Lastname [325th GIR) MUST BE ON AT ALL TIME IN OTHER Realism SERVERS. If they ask you to remove your tags you must immediately leave that server as you must have them on at all times NO EXCEPTIONS. This only applies to DoD:S, you can change your name and avatar when playing other games but you must have your avatar and tags back on before joining any DoD:S server.
